The Problem

Oxidative stress is ordinary wear.

Every day, your body runs a chemical process that keeps you alive — and generates a byproduct called reactive oxygen species (ROS) as it goes. In small, controlled amounts, ROS are useful: they help cells signal, fight off pathogens, and repair themselves.

The trouble starts when ROS pile up faster than your body can clear them — from pollution, poor sleep, hard training, emotional stress, or simply time. That imbalance is oxidative stress, and left unmanaged, it's linked to premature aging, persistent fatigue, and elevated long-term health risk.

The Mechanism

Why molecular hydrogen — specifically?

Most antioxidants are large molecules that scavenge indiscriminately, neutralizing helpful ROS along with the harmful ones. Molecular hydrogen behaves differently, for two structural reasons.

Size H₂ is the smallest, lightest molecule in existence. It diffuses through cell membranes and the blood-brain barrier that stop larger antioxidant compounds cold.
Selectivity Research suggests H₂ preferentially targets the most cytotoxic ROS — like the hydroxyl radical — while leaving beneficial signaling molecules like H₂O₂ untouched.
Delivery Dissolved in water, inhaled as gas, or carried in a bottle — the same molecule, matched to the moment: your kitchen, your workout, your travel day.

Yes — vitamin-based antioxidants are large, water- or fat-soluble molecules that work through different pathways and can't cross the blood-brain barrier.
